It went into the water again and then emerged onto the beach again (I then left so didn't see what happened). It didn't look injured at all. It was a large adult and didn't look under weight.

Continued to dive and swim within 50m of us for 5 minutes while we slowly paddled onwards. A 2nd seal was seen appearing on the surface of the water too at times.
